Safety
Safety
A few practical notes for your time on Avlli.
Avlli is a place to meet people, make friends, play, explore who you are, and sometimes date. Conversation here can be personal. These notes are for the moments when a little more care helps.
Protect your personal information
A bio, a game answer, a question you write, or a Whisper can say a lot about you. That is part of getting to know someone.
Some details are worth keeping closer: an identity document, financial information, your exact home address, or other highly sensitive private information. Share those only when you have a real reason to.
Personal conversation is welcome. The extra care is for information that could be misused.
Block and report
Block someone when you no longer want to interact with them. After you block, you will not see each other in Realm or Gate, they will not appear in discovery, and neither of you can invite or message the other.
Report a profile when someone’s behavior, profile, or content raises a safety or trust concern. You can describe what happened. If you are reporting harassment, a threat, abuse, impersonation, or another safety concern, include the details that explain it. Those details help Avlli understand the situation.
What happens next depends on the situation.
Watch for suspicious behavior
A few patterns are worth a second look:
- a profile that seems fake or misleading
- a request for money
- a request for an identity document or financial details
- pressure to leave Avlli immediately, before you have decided for yourself
Continuing a conversation somewhere else can be fine when it is your choice. Pressure to do it is different.
If something does not feel right, you can block or report.
If something feels unsafe
You can leave a game, stop replying, block, or report.

If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services where you are.
Blind play and reveal
In some games and stages, an interaction can begin without a name or a photo. When and how identity appears follows that game’s rules. Profiles, names, and photos still exist elsewhere on Avlli.
How It Works describes the journey.
Trust & Privacy describes how identity and privacy are handled.
Whispers
A Whisper is a private conversation between two people. You might start one after playing together, or directly from someone’s profile. It is not end-to-end encrypted.
The same care applies there. Highly sensitive private information still deserves thought, even in a one-to-one conversation.
Meeting away from Avlli
A connection on Avlli can become a real meeting: a friendship, a date, or something you have not named yet.
If you decide to meet:
- choose a public place the first time
- tell someone you trust where you are going
- keep your own way home, when you can
- leave if you feel uncomfortable or unsafe
